Being good at your job doesn't automatically prepare you for everything that comes with leading people.
Leadership coaching gives you confidential, one-to-one space to step away from the day-to-day pressure, think clearly and work through the challenges you're facing as a leader.
Whether you're stepping into leadership, managing a growing team or already operating at senior level, we'll focus on helping you lead more effectively without trying to turn you into somebody you're not.
For managers, senior leaders and business owners. Online or face-to-face across Manchester and Cheshire.

Leadership & Management Experience
The further you progress, the fewer people there may be around you who you can speak completely openly with. You don't want to appear unknowledgable to either your bosses or staff.
Yet you're expected to make decisions, manage different personalities, handle difficult conversations, deliver results and provide confidence to everyone else, even when you're not completely certain yourself.
Sometimes you don't need somebody else telling you what to do.
And someone prepared to ask the questions other people might not, someone who has probably been there before that will give you a balanced viewpoint, someone who highlight the "watchouts"!
That's have a look at what is really going on. The backfill of history to this point to set context.
What might you be missing or avoiding? This step is one of the most valuable... often where the most 'gold' is.
We spend time looking at what if's, worst cases and golden paths. If we can handle worst case, it removes fear.
We put a plan in place to make the best choice a reality. We have fall back plans and measurements and we're ready to go.
Put the thinking into practice in the real world. Then we repeat with the next issue that comes are way. From here, action creates confidence!
Good leadership coaching shouldn't make you dependent on a coach. It should make you better at thinking, deciding and leading when the coach isn't there.
Different roles. Different pressures. The coaching starts with the leader in front of me, not a standard leadership programme.

Recently promoted or preparing for greater responsibility.

Working through more complex people, performance, communication and decision-making challenges.

Where leading, delegating and developing other people has become as important as doing the work yourself.

Mark S - Senior Engineer - LinkedIn Recommendation

I've sat on both sides of the conversation. I've worked on the shop floor all the way up to senior level. I've had the good fortune to work with some of the best minds across different business silos. This means I can join dots that others can't, whilst 'getting it' from your position and department.
Managed one of the world's highest-performing clubs, with over 6,000 members and a team of 20 personal trainers.
Led businesses across Northern England with responsibility for commercial performance and developing managers.
Bringing people, priorities and complex problems together across major technology initiatives.
Alongside this career I have coached numerous business owners and leaders using my knowledge from experience.
I'll hold my hands up that there are probably people out there that know more than me... but few know it and have exper
to name a few...

Primarily about you as a leader.
How you communicate, influence, decide, delegate, manage people and perform under pressure.

Primarily about you and the business.
Direction, growth, profitability, customers, systems and what's preventing the business moving forward.

Primarily about you as a high performer.
For business owners, the lines often overlap. Sometimes what looks like a business problem is actually a leadership problem.
30 minutes to understand what's happening. I can see if I can help you and you can hear how I work and see if that is right for you.
What would useful progress actually look like?
One-to-one sessions focused on what's happening in your real role. We tackle the hard stuff and agree some small steps to move you forward. We learn skills to handle things. You get homework!
Apply it, see what happens, learn and adjust. We agree follow up points so that you are on track. You have my support in between sessions should anything arise that you need immediate help with.
You can dial up or down the amount or length of sessions. It's important that you turn up to the sessions in a good head space so no problem if you need to change the day or time of our appointments - I understand life gives you curve balls so I won't punish you for it.
